جابجایی یک ستون یا یک نقطه به تنهایی به همراه موضوعات مدلسازی شده متصل به آن گره در ETABS 2016

یک راهکار ساده برای جابجایی المان‌ها (مثلا یک ستون) بطوری که بقیه اجزای مدلسازی شده متصل به آن نیز حرکت داده شوند، استفاده از دستور Move Joints/Frames/Shells است.
با انتخاب موضوعات نقطه‌ای، خطی و سطحی و استفاده از مسیر Edit menu > Move Joints/Frames/Shells می‌توانید، این موضوعات را جابجای نمایید. با اجرای این دستور پنجره Move Joints/Frames/Shells ظاهر شده و در آن می‌توانید مقدار جابجایی در جهت‌های X، Y و Z را وارد نمایید. به جای وارد نمودن مقدار جابجایی در این پنجره، می‌توانید بر روی دکمه Pick Two Points on Model کلیک نموده و با کلیک بر روی دو نقطه از پنجره مدل، مقدار جابجایی موضوعات در جهات مختلف را تعیین نمایید. در صورتی که یک گره را جابجا نمایید، تمام المان‌های خطی و سطحی متصل به آن گره نیز با آن حرکت می‌کنند.

When you move a point object, all line and area objects attached to the point are reoriented or resized to account for the movement. For example, if you move a point object at the top of a column, the column will become sloped. (Note that ETABS would then consider this column to be a brace.)
When you move a line object, the line object moves but the point objects at the ends of the line object do not move. New point objects are created at the ends of the line object in its new position if necessary. Any other objects that were connected to the point objects at the ends of the line object in its original location remain where they were; they do not move in any way. Similarly any assignments to the point objects at the ends of the line object in its original location remain where they were. If no other objects are connected to the point objects at the ends of the line object in its original location and if there are no assignments made to those point objects, ETABS deletes them after the line object has been moved.
